Goals of the Two-Year-Old Program
One of our main goals is to create a positive, nurturing first school experience for each child. Our teachers create a warm, friendly classroom environment where each child feels secure to explore and experience the preschool world! We strive to make the transition an easy one by having a third teacher in the classroom for the first couple of months.
Social interaction & independence

Daily Classroom Routine
The children are greeted by the teacher at the door. They wash hands and then are free to explore and play in the classroom. While they are playing the 2 teachers call them over one at a time to work on different art projects. After play and art time the children will all help clean up and then sit together on the rug for story and music time. After rug time the children will sit at the tables for a little snack. A busy day!
General Two-Year-Old Guidelines
The two's do not need to be potty trained. We ask that you send a diaper, wipes, and a change of clothes in their backpack in case we need to change your child.
There is a maximum of 16 children in the class with 2 full time teachers.
We have a Parent’s Night in August to give you an opportunity to meet with the teacher..
Children must be two by May 31 of the year they plan to enter the two-year-old class.
